FAQ

A few practical things.

What is a Shamble format?

Everyone in the team tees off. The team selects the best drive and from that spot, each player plays their own ball into the hole. It rewards a great driver and keeps every player in the round.

What is the dress code?

Country club attire. Collared shirts, golf slacks or tailored shorts, soft-spike or spikeless shoes. No denim, no athletic shorts, no t-shirts on course or in the clubhouse.

Can I rent clubs?

Yes. Premium rentals are available at The Olympic Club pro shop. We recommend reserving in advance. Email the tournament coordinator for assistance.

What if it rains?

The tournament proceeds rain or shine. In the rare case of an unsafe weather event, we will communicate alternative plans by email to all registered players.

Is the silent auction open to non-players?

Yes. The $200 Cocktail Hour ticket includes silent auction access. Bidding closes during cocktail hour.

How are proceeds distributed?

Proceeds are distributed evenly between The Avalon Academy and Stanbridge Academy, with optional add-on donations directable to either school at checkout.

What is the refund policy?

Registrations are non-refundable but transferable. If you cannot attend, please contact the tournament coordinator to transfer your spot.
